Best time to trap coons?

I made a couple of traps and caught me a bundle of squrriels but i wanna move on to bigger animals like coons. I know they can be mean but i wanna cacth a few. I live in a city type wooded area and i know coons love the city, but my question is whats the best time to cacth coon in the winter or summer and whats the best bait to lure them in.
