Why are we considering kobe 2nd to jordan?

i dont think hes a top 5 laker, i think were just basing how great he is over the past four years rather than hes whole career, sure hes good scorer but i dont think hes even the best scorer in the league today even, yes he has 4 rings .. so maybe we should give credit to jerry west and mitch kupchack for great managing of building a team, im not saying kobes not a great player he is, but i feel hes not a top 10 player of all time, sure hes had records and all, but he hasnt been consistant throughout hes career, do we have a official difinition of what being the greatest in the nba is, rings well that should make bill russel the greatest .... right?, stats wilt chamberlin owns the stats so he should be the greatest ... right?, so i want you to rebut my question but dont use rings or stats go on tell why hes better or not than jordan, because hes not, jordn was more athletic, had a higher basketball iq, better per, better teammate, better winner, basically everything, call me hater though im just saying calling me a hater is stupid because duh i do hate kobe watcha gonna do about it, but most laker fans are just baseing his success on the past 4 years instead of his whole 14 year career
