Omg!! Can someone explain to me how Rafa lost to Soderling?

Im soooo depressed :( im just back from paris and i seen rafa play against hewit :D and he was on fire, i seen him in practise with uncle toni and he was hitting the ball great.... im sooo confused, im just back there to off the plane so missed his match how the **** could he get beat????? dam ticket for roger now....sucks!!
