What if my baby remained in breech position in all the months of pregnancy?

At each visit to my doctor, i was told the baby is in breech position, and they told it will be ok till delivery. I am in my 33 week and still the baby is breech. Can someone tell is it safe if the baby remained breech throughout the pregnancy?
