What are the downsides to being a single mom?

It seems that single moms get welfare, free health care, free education, etc etc etc. Why not have a kid so you don't aculate large student loans like one would have that is responsible. If you stay kid fre you might walk away with a four year degree with 70k in student loans, but if you have a kid, its all free. Plus, you get an income from child support on top of all the freebies.
