Why do people go to the circus??

It mind boggles me this day and age why people still visit the circus with all the abuse that goes on to their performing animals...especially the elephants! Dont people care about what happens behind the tent walls. I guess if people cant see it It doesnt go on, Well to all you animal lovers out there...please ABOLISH SLAVERY!...BOYCOTT THE CIRCUS!!
