Why does my hatchling leopard gecko have its umbilical chord still attached !!?

it just hatched a few hours ago and has a big yolk sack, it is moving about and acting good it also isnt very skinny but still has a big ball of yolk attached with its umbilical chord, this gecko is my 3rd hatchling and the only one with a yolk sack / umbilical chord.
